MD~
This little Topix page is the perfect way to contact you.
Even if you don't log on, one of your sycophantic minions/zombies will print it out
& get it to you.
I writing this just to try to give you an idea of how disgusting your agenda is to me.
Let me give you a little background.
I grew up in the Wiregrass and never saw Dallas or Lowndes County until I was 15 in '65.
As our family drove down U.S. 80, my Daddy said,"This is what it look like down home thirty years ago."
Dallas & Lowndes certainly have a legacy of poverty & bigotry, however, what you failed to recognize was that Selma has always stood as an island of tolerance in sea of intolerance.
I had a Selma native my same age tell me that her Daddy, arguably the most influential person in Selma in '65, sat Jonathan Daniel down
IN HIS OFFICE
& told him he'd be shot dead if he went to Lowndes County. I have been told by three different people that the rector of St. Paul's sat his ass down & told him THE SAME THING!
When Al Lingo
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/George_Wallace_(film)ran against Mel Bailey for Sheriff of Jefferson County, he told everyone that Seymour Trammel ordered the attack at the foot of the bridge.
What Did The Citizens of Selma Have To Do With That?
Wilson Baker was the voice of tolerance in a city being bullyed by its COUNTY SHERIFF!
The County Sheriff Controlled VOTER REGISTRATION!!!!
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jim_Clark_(sheriff)WHAT IN THE WORLD DID THE PEOPLE OF SELMA HAVE TO DO WITH ANY OF THAT!
Anyway, you & your STUPID PEOPLE talk about how separated the races are in Selma.
What a joke!
WE ALL WORK TOGETHER EVERY DAY!
Allow me to quote a fellow Alabamian.
What he had to say a hundred years ago sums up most everybody in Selma, no matter what their complexion may be.
"As we have proved our loyalty to you in the past, in nursing your children, watching by the sick-bed of your mothers and fathers, and often following them with tear-dimmed eyes to their graves, so in the future, in our humble way, we shall stand by you with a devotion that no foreigner can approach, ready to lay down our lives, if need be, in defense of yours, interlacing our industrial, commercial, civil, and religious life with yours in a way that shall make the interests of both races one. In all things that are purely social, we can be as separate as the fingers, yet one as the hand in all things essential to mutual progress."

MD! You have tried to take advantage of bad situation.
You crapped in your mess kit when you came to Selma.
