Wanted to let you know that we plan to be back on the island come January and that one of my goals is to get a Dauphin Island Trivia Game started based upon the D.I. street names. I've started annotating McNeely's list from THE DEVELOPMENT OF DAUPHIN ISLAND, ALABAMA. Please let anyone who may be interested, especially public school teachers, that I've annotated 18 of the 115 listed streets and that my completed annotation will include comments, Internet links for the street's namesake, the street location based upon the 4-way stop and a Find-A-Grave link if applicable.
