My name is Robert Register. We've never met. I've been to a couple of your concerts in the B'ham area. In about '67, somebody brought your Nudie car out to my Daddy's shop in Dothan for a set of tires. I got to see the horns, guns and silver dollars. Anyway, I'm a student of Tri-State Wiregrass history. My Uncle Page hired your Daddy for the postal workers ball in Montgomery in the mid-40s. The way he found out about Hank was that he didn't know who to hire so he went to the municipal court judge to get his opinion seeing as the judge would know most of the guitar pickers. The judge said,"Get this Hank Williams boy. He's gonna be BIG one day."
