It's a list of tunes put together by Damon Johnson who Wake calls "perhaps Alabama's greatest hard rock export." #2 on his list is : SKY HIGH by ARS & of course, BARRY BAILEY is one the guitar hero's guitar heroes. “ARS was just a band that informed a lot of my youth. And of all the guitarist that inspire me and move me, I think Barry (Bailey, of Atlanta Rhythm Section) has done it more consistently through my life. To this day. I was on the flight coming home from London two days ago and I was listening to ‘Third Annual Pipe Dream,’ one of their first records. Listening to that guy play, his note choices are perfect, his tone you can’t emulate, it’s perfect. I could have listed 20 other tracks by the Atlanta Rhythm Section, but ‘Sky High’ has dark and light.
