During Roy Orbison's Australian tour in 1967, Dothan's John Rainey Adkins struck up a friendship with Jimmy Page, guitarist for the Yardbirds & featured in the linked video. Jimmy gave John Rainey a fuzz box (electronic distortion accessory that produced Keith Richards' SATISFACTION guitar sound).
