walked behind the new amphitheatre & climbed down to the base of the railroad trestle's stone pier next to the river & discovered a ledge where you can sit about 5 ft. above the river and watch the tugs & stuff. The pier is about thirty feet high and it's constructed with stones one foot by 7 or 9 foot by about 3, I guess. The stones are covered with quarry marks.
